Reliability
In respect of reliability, an instrument such as the style analysis needs to be viewed in a special light. It aims at capturing how a person behaves in precisely the situation in which he finds himself at the present moment. If the situation changes then his behaviour can also change to a greater or lesser degree. This means that it is not meaningful to do traditional "test-retest-measurements" if you are not convinced that the situation is the same on both test occasions. This is difficult, of course, and it was also one of the reasons why assessments of validity by comparison with the Reddin test were done with great care and with rough measurements.
